Oregon White Oak Countertop

These are photos from our latest installation: we made this countertop as an add-on to a pre-existing kitchen.

View from the living room. The countertop flares out 6", easing the eye into the kitchen area.

Working side of the kitchen.

View from the foyer.

The characteristics of Oregon Oak are evident in this photo. Knotty, figured, and beautiful, wavy grain.

Custom made, inset face plate for the outlet cover.

  1. Hi there: Did you use rift cut, quarter sawn or plain sawn boards for this counter? I am trying to give guidance to someone making a countertop for us
